How qualification works in Utah

Utah has a statewide standard. The Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Firearms Qualification Course is a 50-round course of fire across 3, 5, 7, 15, and 25-yard lines (day course; a separate night course with/without a flashlight also exists), shot on a B21ECB UDPS target, with 250 points possible and a minimum of 200 (80%) required to pass. A retired officer can requalify either with the agency they retired from or another POST-affiliated law enforcement agency in the area where they live, using this same statewide course.
