What is LEOSA?

The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004 (LEOSA, H.R. 218, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 926C) lets qualified retired and separated law enforcement officers carry a concealed firearm nationwide. To keep that authority, an officer must be tested each year — within the most recent 12 months — to the active-duty firearms standard set by their former agency, their state, or a certified instructor, depending on what their state has established. That annual test is what the listings below help you find.
