How qualification works in New Hampshire
New Hampshire has a statewide standard set by the Police Standards and Training Council (PSTC) under N.H. Code Admin. R. Ann. Pol 404.03, which covers all law enforcement, corrections, and probation/parole officers authorized to use force. The handgun course consists of six firing elements (draw-and-fire, strong/weak hand, cover positions, movement, reload sequences) at distances from 3 to 25 yards using a silhouette target, with a minimum qualification score of 75% achieved on 2 consecutive attempts, required annually.
